1928 Ford Model A Sport Coupe Unknown

Offered For Sale by the California Automobile Museum, , , , This 1928 Ford Model A Sports Coupe was built by famed Hot Rod builder Roy Brizio of San Francisco in the late 1970s. It has been well taken care of since that time and is ready for a new home. , , , , We Now Offer Financing, , , , Exterior, , , , This 1928 Ford Model A Sports Coupe still presents very well. The body seems to be very solid and all the panels are straight. The paint looks to be lacquer and still looks good but does have some imperfections after all the years. There are a couple of paint chips and there is also some orange peel on the panels behind the doors. There is also a small bubble that has a crack in it on the lower section of the passenger side behind the door (pictured). The black fenders still have a nice shine to them. The fabric top is in good shape and is clean. The glass throughout the vehicle is also in nice shape and does not have any cracks or chips. The chrome on the Ford has a nice shine to it and is in good condition. The bumpers are also straight and in good condition. Truespoke wire wheels with real knock offs are wrapped with Pirelli P76 LR78-15 tires in the rear with about 5-32nds of tread left and Hercules P205-70R15 in the front with about 7-32nds of tread left. , , , , Interior, , , , The interior is clean and orderly. The seats are in good shape and are clean. There is one spot on the drivers side where you can see a bit of wear but there arent any rips or tears. The door panels are complete and clean. The carpet is clean and looks to be in pretty good shape. The dash has been chromed. A newer style voltmeter and water temp gauge has been added to the stock chrome gauge cluster with a oil pressure gauge mounted underneath. There is also an AM-FM CD player mounted under the passenger side of the dashboard with speakers mounted in the rear tray behind the seat. A late model tilt steering column has been added along with a Nardi steering wheel., , , , Mechanical, , , , This Sports Coupe looks to be in great shape mechanically. It has a Ford 302 cu. in. V8 with a C4 automatic transmission. The engine runs well and idles nicely. The transmission shifts as it should. The frame was fully boxed for support. the front end has a Super Bell dropped front axle with a 4 bar linkage and disc brakes. The rear end is set up with a chromed and polished Jaguar independent suspension with inboard disc brakes. This setup allows for a nice comfortable ride. Electrically this vehicle seems to be very sound.
