The quality of the workmanship on this street rod is second to none. , , Body, Professionally built showing 17,000 miles using a beautiful Downs Fiberglass body with three inch chop and TCI frame. An aluminum grille gets framed by a pair of classic 9 inch commercial headlamps with ice blue halogen bulbs to provide great nighttime driving. The vented, three-piece Rootlieb hood gives off just the right stance. Star Blocker rubber panels have been attached to the underside of each fender to give you protection against paint stars. , , Pale Orange paint from the PPG “Bright and Bold Series” was professionally applied using a basecoat-clearcoat application. Wild graphics and select detailing emulate a sinuous motion with a checkered flag starting at the front, molding into brilliant colorful stripes flowing into silver ghost checkers at the rear. The license plate is frenched into the rear panel. Under the rear fender is a set of remote battery terminals to assist you in an emergency. A third brake light is mounted in rear window for extra safety. Door poppers, hidden door hinges, two speed electric windshield wipers with billet arms add to the extras., , Engine Compartment, Open the hood to find the heart of this classic! A 350 Chevy LT1 IROC with Tuned Port Injection was outfitted by Street and Performance. The polished valve covers, alternator, aluminum pulleys and water pump make this engine compartment a show stopper. S & P exhaust headers are thermal coated inside and out. A chrome oil pan and timing cover round out the bright stuff. A Walker Radiator, transmission cooler and 16' electric fan (w/pre-set thermo and override switch) and stainless overflow tank keep the engine cool, even on the hottest days. The 700R4 overdrive transmission is complimented with a Dakota Digital LED transmission selector , Juice the engine and the polished Sanden A/C compressor hooked to the Vintage Air system keeps you cool all summer long. , , Interior, A beautiful, yet functional interior greets your arrival with style and comfort. The interior is skillfully sculptured in Melba Orange ultra leather. The entire interior (including dash, rear of firewall, floor, side panels and headliner) is done using MagicTouch III fabric. MagicTouch III is a synthetic material that feels more like leather than leather itself. The interior side panels are sculptured and match the exterior graphics. An under-dash cover panel provides a clean appearance and hides the wiring kit by American Autowire and the TPI computer., Hidden behind the dash is a Vintage Air system with two AC outlets that has been freshly serviced. The heater and defroster allow you to enjoy year-long driving. Power windows and doors are remotely operated by a key fob. A hidden switch allows you entry when you misplace your key fob. The entire covered dash holds full set of instrumentation from Stewart Warner “Classic” gauges with “retro” styling and a SunPro mini tach round out the goodies that keep your engine in check. , An Ididit tilt column with a LeCarra tilt wheel makes steering a dream. Lokar provided the pedals, and emergency brake setup. Billet knobs and Big Al’s armrests compliment the entire interior. The six-way power driver seat with adjustable back rest allows you to drive in comfort. Full seat belts with shoulder straps in front and rear keep you safe when on the go. The rear seats are custom made with removable cushions and under seat storage.
