1949 Desoto Woodie Unknown

Wonderfully Rare Desoto Woody Wagon. Desoto built around 850 wood wagons in 1949. It was one of the last wagons to utilize a wood body before the all steel bodies came out in mid 1950. This is a very nice example. It was restored in the mid 1980s by a collector in northern Ohio. He traded it in the early 1990s to a collector in Illinois. He has kept it and maintained it and now wants to move on. It remains in fine condition. Interior apprars to be original. Wood is in good condition and the cars runs and drives well. Woodies are getting hard to come by and this is a fine example. Great investment.
