This 1949 Studebaker pickup is one Pro Street monster. It is powered by a 871 Littlefield blown 496 C.I. Chevrolet big block that has been dynod at 950 H.P. The engine features Eagle I beam rods, Probe forged pistons (7.5 to 1) file fit rings, Comp Cam and roller rockers, MSD distributor and ignition and has been balanced and line bored. It is backed by a BAndM shifted Turbo 400 and a Ford 9 31 spline 3:73 posi rear end with big bearings. The exterior sheet metal is all steel and has been extensively reworked both to lower the profile and accommodate the massive 33 X 21.5 X 15 rear tires. In front you will find a 72 El Camino front clip and suspension. The interior features racing seats with a full roll cage.
