A unique color combination not typically seen, but really quite stunning!! This early TF is just wonderful! Considered an intermediate car for the MG Cars for only 3 years while the MGA was being finalized, only 9600 of these MG TF cars were ever produced. Based mainly on the TD, but the headlights were shaped beautifully in the front fenders, the hood was upgraded to push-button latches, and a radiator tilted slightly backwards for a very aerodynamically designed front end. This stunning 1954 MG-TF roadster is finished in factory color-coded black over apple green interior. It is an early TF production vehicle powered by the XPAG 1250cc engine with twin SU carburetors rated at 57 horsepower. Standard features included a 4-speed manual transmission, 15" disc wheels, Jaeger instrumentation, full convertible top & side curtains, and banjo style steering wheel. Upgrades to this MG-TF include a louvered hood for added engine cooling, screw on oil filter, Armstrong shock absorbers, and front badge bar. It has been professionally restored and is wonderfully solid underneath! The convertible top, top bows, and side curtains are all brand new. The interior was expertly completed and looks magnificent in person! The engine has been recently tuned and runs superb! All of the front end ball joints, a-arm bushings, steering boots, and bump stop are new! The muffler has already been replaced as well as a stainless steel tail pipe. The tires are all matching Dunlop 165SR15 radials. We would like to inform potential buyers that this vehicle has been titled under its engine number, versus its original chassis number. Both numbers are located on the same data plate, so it will transfer again unchanged. Chassis #: HDA46/3314 Engine #: XPAG/TF/33304 All cars are advertised locally and nationally.
