1955 Chevrolet 210 Unknown

  We took a trip to Arizona last week and met up with an old friend who owns quite a few of these custom street machines. His cars are high quality stuff, designed to be shown, but, more importantly, to be driven. When we found out that he was ready to sell this 1955 Chevrolet 210 wagon, we couldn’t believe it. He spent a few years getting this restomod exactly the way he wanted it to be, and after taking it to a local cruise a couple of weeks ago, was looking to move on to the next project. Let’s get the cosmetics out of the way, and then move on to the heart of this car. Finished in beautiful pearl white and orange paint, this 210 pops from every angle. The body is incredibly straight and rust free. The lips and jambs are flawless. At the local show where we saw the car a few weeks ago, this wagon stood out from the crowd like a swan in a chicken coop! From the painted bumpers to the trim, this car is beautiful!  The top has been chopped 2 inches, and with the 17 front wheels and 18 rear wheels, this Chevy rolls on way too cool! Pop open the hood and SURPRISE … no wimpy 283 here … instead, you will find the beautiful LS1 fuel injected motor underneath the custom painted engine cover. The LS1 breathes through custom ceramic coated headers feeding a new 2.5” aluminum dual exhaust system. A solid aluminum radiator can be found under its own custom cover as well. New upper A-Frame bushings are also visible. With electronic fuel injection, this is about as reliable as it gets! The engine compartment is beautiful! Mated to the LS1 is a 4L60E four speed automatic transmission. The frame is powder coated, it has a new A-Body front suspension and 2” drop spindles. There is no rust to be found underneath this wagon. There is a new gas tank, a Ford 9” open rear end, and new leaf springs. Nothing like modern technology in these classic rides! This 210 can cruise with the best of them, but it’s not going to back down in a street fight! Power steering makes this wagon an easy cruiser and she stops thanks to front disc brakes and rear drums.   Moving to the inside of this restomod, you will find a beautiful custom interior with some classy upgrades. With comfortable bucket seats in the front and a custom center console with cup holders, the car was upholstered in beautiful soft beige leather. Creature comforts include a power driver seat, tilt wheel, power windows, Vintage Air and more! Lighted dolphin gauges and a Kenwood stereo CD player with USB and remote control were also included. This system rocks!   Let’s do a quick recap: gorgeous, custom body with stunning paint, incredible drive-train with power, reliability and performance and a beautiful custom interior with everything you need for endless cruising and enjoyment. This 210 wagon has it all, and is the perfect street machine/cruiser! You could not build this car for anywhere near the asking price!
