1957 Chevrolet 3100 W /navigation

The term RestoMod has been taken to an extreme level on this wicked 1957 Chevy 3100 Big Window pickup. I say that because the 57 sheet metal was installed over a 2006 Chevy Colorado pickup frame with LS-1 Corvette 5.7 Liter V-8 power. The automatic overdrive from the same Corvette was installed so the drive-ability of this awesome truck is superb! It has a beautiful Teal metallic paint job over the all steel body with a custom cut bed, excellent trim and chrome. The Colorado chassis nets you a strong frame, larger power brakes, with disc up front, a modern suspension, so the stopping and handling are great. The custom interior has leather bucket seats, center console, GM T-handle shifter, digital gauges, custom cut headliner, stereo system, full carpeting, and 3 point harness seat belts. It is comfortable and very functional. The truck rides on brand new Coy C-5 18-20 inch combo wheels with performance radial tires. The rake is adjustable with rear air shocks. The dual exhaust sounds great but is not abusive to the ears. The bed was fully restored with new wood but was cut shallow to allow the frame to fit. It is still functional for those honey do list this weekend. Just about any local service facility car work on this truck with R-134 AC and 2006 computer module for tuning. The color is just as much green as it is blue so depending on the hue of your computer screen it may look one or the other. It is a Teal color in person.
