“My name was Cheaterville. 1957 fuel injected Corvette. 283 cu. in. 283 hp. Legal N.H.R.A. super stock car. 1st to run quarter-mile in 11 seconds. Winter national winner 1972. King of the Hill many times. Ranked in top 10 S/S in the nation. Has been on TV. Has carried queens and princesses in parades. Centerfold of Chevy power magazine in 1974. Used on restaurant menus in Oregon. Original motor and running gear all rebuilt. I am a legend in my own time.” This is from Mike the owner from 1965. You now have some history of this Vette. We will try and get to more information and details on the history of this Corvette. As you can see from the photos it has gone through some changes. We will try to map those out.
