It started as an old honest car and received a full cosmetic and mechanical restoration. The tired 283 was replaced with a new GM 350 V-8 crate motor rated at 290 horsepower and the Power-glide transmission was exchanged for a totally rebuilt Turbo 350 V-8. The extra gear is a welcome addition along with the smoother shifting action. The motor was upgraded with expensive Sanderson headers, aluminum dual exhaust, aluminum intake, 4 barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, and billet dress up kit. Power steering and cross/drilled/slotted front rotors give extra stopping power to the power brakes. The body is solid with a beautiful sterling silver base/clear coat paint job shown off by outstanding trim and chrome. The bed was treated to a contrasting spray on bed liner that not only looks great but will come in handy when working your "honey do" list. The all new 59 spec, correct reproduction, tri-tone, interior is handsome and the steering wheel is a 13 inch version of the original. Vintage A/C keeps the cabin cool for those hot summer days. The fully refurbished chassis rides on great looking Dagger 17/18 inch staggered wheels with Kumho SPT P225/50R17 and P235/50R18 Z rater tires respectively.
