The 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne Bel Air and Impala enjoyed a boxy face-lift with bodyside contours cleverly altered to look like major changes had taken place. Clean-cut as a jewel the sales brochure claimed smooth-riding as a jet. Ads touted such mundane features as air-washed rocker panels self-adjusting brakes and a longer-life exhaust system. The standard Turbo-Fire 283-cubic-inch V-8 got a boost to 195 horsepower the mid-range 327-cubic-inch engine yielded 250 to 340 horsepower and the big-block 409 cranked out 340 400 or 425 horses. The latter used twin four-barrel carburetors and 11:1 compression. This particular Arizona car is a wonderful driving 63 Biscayne that comes with countless new parts. With power steering power brakes A/C and a fresh 350 Cu In V8 under the hood theres not much more you need! This is an original mileage car according to the Arizona title we have in hand. However we dont have any other documentation to prove this. The paint on the car is in great condition with no major imperfections. All doors and fenders are solid with no bubbling or rot that we have found. The paint is finished in the original shade of Ermine White. Both front and rear bumpers are in great condition and have a great shine to them. All trim pieces are in good condition with no major dents or dings to be found. Inside the blue interior looks great and is freshly upholstered. The carpet seats door panels and headliner all look great with only one small 3/4 tear to the headliner to note. The interior appears to be no more then a few years old. All gauges are in good working order as well as the aftermarket gauge pod below the dash that includes oil pressure volts and temperature. The aftermarket A/C unit works with no problems and does blow cold. Under the hood the 350 Cu In V8 runs great and is nicely detailed. With many new parts under the hood the motor should give you years of enjoyment and power! The car runs great and with a 4bbl carb and high flow air cleaner sitting on top of the hood there is plenty of power for those of you with a heavy foot. Options include power steering power disc brakes and cold A/C. The underside of the car is very solid and has been lightly undercoated. In the trunk you will find correct matting a full size spare and jack. The wheels are from American Racing and really set the car off with their gray finish. They are wrapped with newer Dunlop radials that all have good tread life left on them. The current mileage shows 89751 and the car is being sold on a clean Arizona title showing the previous owner has had the car since 2005.
