1964 Chevrolet Bel Air Unknown

1964 Chevrolet Bel Air for sale in our Louisville Ky Showroom. Every once in a while a car comes into the show room and I just say â??WOWâ? to myself. This 1964 Chevrolet 409 powered Bel Air is it! The current owner bought the car approximately 5 year ago and proceeded to take the car completely apart. The body was removed from the frame and they were each put on a rotisserie. Everything was sandblasted and the only thing that was in need of repair were the rear body mounts. All the bushings, ball joints, tie-rod ends, and springs were replaced. The rear end of this Bel Air has been beefed up with 30 spline billet axles with larger spider gears and posi girdles. The two piece driveshaft has been upgraded for strength but still has the original appearance. The front have been upgraded to discs, and power brake booster has been added in the name of safety. After all, with all this GO, you got to have Whoa! The 409 power plant has been treated to complete rebuild by the 409 engine guru himself, Lamar Walden. The engine has been bored, stroked, balanced and blueprinted. The blueprint sheet is available upon request. Four bolt main caps have been installed for added strength along with a full roller cam. The 409 also has a set aluminum by Lemar Walden. The engine appears stock (period correct) due to the heads being painted with the original intake, valve covers and air cleaner. The engine is connected to a Muncie manual 4-speed via a period correct blow proof bell housing to keep the driver safe.
