This is a very special K Code Mustang. Get it? Special K? That is because it has the legendary K code 289 V-8 with 271 horsepower and the ultra rare paint code K for Medium Gray Metallic. I think I have seen this color one time before on a Fastback years ago. Of course being a K code it has a 4-speed transmission, special handling package with stiffer springs, shocks, and front sway bar. It also has styled steel wheels, dual red-line period correct rubber, and dual exhaust. Funny, the last 3 K codes we have had have not been GT models. Nice that when restored they used restraint of not cloning it into one. It is such a good sleeper. The little V-8 with solid lifters, 4 barrel carburetor, pulls hard and is a blast to drive. The immaculate correct code 26 black bucket seat interior is very nice. You will notice that the carpet is faded from top dow,n out door shows, but we will take care of that. Some nice options are a power top, matching snap on boot, Rally Pac gauge kit, push button factory radio, full seat belts, and padded dash. The motor compartment has a chrome dress up kit and yes the block is supposed to be painted black instead of Ford Corporate Blue. As with most K codes it does not have power steering or power brakes. The body is very straight and the paint is outstanding! So is all of the trim, chrome, and glass. If you would love tooling around in an innocent looking drop top Pony, then leave the car at the light next to you wondering what just happened, you should consider this fine Mustang. There is very good classic car financing available with up to 10 years to pay. There is also cheap insurance and we offer very reasonable, enclosed, professional shipping.
