Plum Crazy is the name of the paint on this 1965 Plymouth Valiant. It's also an apt description of the vehicle itself. Powered by a stout 440 with all manner of go fast goodies, this valiant is not so much a car as it is an acute sensory experience. The 440 is equipped Stealth aluminum heads upon which you'll find an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and Holley 850. Aluminum roller rockers take orders from a custom-grind cam and slick McCabe fender well headers usher spent gasses into the atmosphere with a roar. The 727 TorqueFlite transmission with Hughes 3200 RPM stall converter features a fully manual valve body controlled by a Hurst ratchet shifter. Out back you'll find a narrowed 8 3/4" Sure-Grip differential with 3.91.1 gears and ladder bars. Up front you'll find a pair of disc brakes. Custom paint graces a very solid and straight body, while the interior features custom high-back seats, headliner and door panels, plus a full complement of gauges. If you're looking for a crazy good time, this is it.
