1965 Pontiac GTO Unknown

I am probably the wrong guy to write the description on this car because I absolutely love a Pontiac GTO. Ever since I was a little kid I thought they were one of the best looking legendary cars of all time. I have owned a few and wish I could buy this one today! It is in a word just freaking AWESOME! It is totally right on the money with what a current "Rest-O-Mod" is today. By that I mean the true integrity of the car has been left alone. It is a PHS true GTO hardtop with a powerful 389 Tri-Power V-8 and a 4-speed. Most of the car has been left stock so that a purest could always put it back to 1965 specs. You will NOT want to as this car drives and handles terrific. That is due to the tricked out Hotchkins tubular A arm, front/rear sway bar, suspension, a full set of power 4 wheel Baer high performance, cross drilled, slotted rotor brakes, and the Hurst inspired Intro polished 5 spoke wheels shod with Firehawk high performance radial tires. The looks are great but the dynamics of this set up make this car drive like no other GTO we have had in the last 11 years. The laser straight body features fantastic fit-up, awesome paint, great trim, chrome, and glass. The only mods to the body are the beautifully painted to match under side and show quality chassis. The motor and trunk compartment were painted to match while the body was off the frame. It was even polished and buffed to perfection. I hate splatter painted trunks and boring flat black painted fender liners. The immaculate bucket seat interior looks completely stock and features a full console, Hurst shifter, in-dash tachometer, remote driver mirror, tilt steering column, and updated AM/FM aftermarket Pontiac stereo with 6x9 speakers mounted in the rear package tray. The motor has been updated with electronic ignition, newer carbs, and aluminum, turbo muffler exhaust with correct style splitter tailpipes. Nothing on this car has been butchered. Everything was so tastefully done. They must have started with a very good car cause the end result is something to behold. This car is such a good buy! You will see many GTO offerings out there but you will be hard pressed to find a better one at any price much less under $50,000. When you call ask for Tony because I will have a very hard time discounting this fine GTO! You will love this car.
