1966 Chevrolet Biscayne Custom 4x4

This is a "Very Rare" documented L72 cu in. / 425 h.p. 1966 Biscayne 4 speed 2 door post sedan. The experts estimate that there were only around 100 Biscayne's' built with the L72 427 cu.in. / 425 h.p. This car was purchased new off of the lot at Floyd Hughes Chevrolet in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The new owner, Daryl Arrowsmith, was only 19 years old. He drag raced the Biscayne, from "Day One" , for the next two years at Witchita Dragway, Omaha Draway, Kansas City Dragway, Thunder Valley Dragway, and others. Daryl then sold the car to his brother Ron, who did some serious racing on the streets. He claims the Biscayne was never beaten. I had American Muscle Cars return this car back to a "Day 2" look. They modified the suspension to lift the car, installed Hooker headers with electric cut -outs, and installed 10.00 - 15 Firestone D.O.T. Cheater Slicks. They also installed an original shifter, "Green Line" Steward Warner gauges, and front tow bar tabs.
