Starting with an original rust free Z28 302-290hp V-8 with Muncie 4-speed transmission and 12 bolt factory rear axle car restored utilizing quality components, excellent paint and finish, and featuring in-depth credentials, this is an excellent addition to any garage. A true Z28, powered by a DZ 302 engine with Trans Am racing inspired cross ram intake with 4295 Holley carburetors and matching off-road camshaft, this makes for a desirable and unusual power and performance combination. The engine is mated to a Muncie 4-speed transmission with new Hurst shift linkage, taking the horsepower to the 4:10 posi-traction 12-bolt differential. The complete chambered exhaust system makes for great sounds down the road. This Z28 is painstakingly restored with many date/period correct component parts as well as all assembly line markings and decals including cylinder heads, water pump, alternator, distributor, exhaust manifolds, smog pump, fan & clutch, pulleys, wheels, and bell housing. With less than 1500 miles since rotisserie restoration, the attention to details is evident top to bottom. The rally green paint is highlighted by the black period correct stripes. Front dams and rear spoilers and new bumper guards complete the look. Stopping is responsive and smooth with 4 wheel disc brakes.
