Norwood production, DZ high comp. 302V8, M21 4-speed, front/rear spoilers, correct Garnet Red with Black stripes, Black interior. This incredible Z/28 is the recipient of superb, frame-on restoration completed about 4,000 miles ago in 2004; it had led a relatively pampered life and did not need a more extensive restoration. Even so, the previous owner spent close to $30,000 having the car totally gone through with a Concours Driven goal. The paint and interior were completely redone and all of the mechanicals were rebuilt or refurbished in including a full professional rebuild and balancing of the engine, rebuilt transmission, 12-bolt Posi, and suspension. The car is subtly upgraded for driving enjoyment with features like forged pistons and Eagle rods, Mallory ignition, Edelbrock intake, Flowmaster exhaust, heavy-duty clutch, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73 gearing, rear disc brakes, BF Goodrich radials, etc. The original Winters manifold is included with the car as are restoration receipts/detailed information.
