Full Custom 1969 Camaro designed and built by owner. I have been building show cars for 30 years and have decided to build a series of custom 69 Camaros. The unique feature is the use of “Eleanor” Mustang side pipes. Each Camaro has its own “One of a Kind” look. Over 500 labor hours of body and paint work went into this custom Camaro. After the initial bodywork the car was hand blocked and Sikkens paint, base coat/clear coat, 2011 color code WA505Q Crystal Claret Met/Pearl was used, a total of 3 coats of clear. Then the car was wet sanded and polished to a superior finish. Over 200 hundred hours went into this process alone. “Eleanor” Mustang side pipes were modified and mounted to fit. Also the rear quarter panel section was lowered 3 ½ inches. The rear roll pan was extended down 2 ½ inches. Custom grille and Halogen headlights with H4 bulbs. Modern SS emblems finished off the trim. Disc front with drum rear brakes. American Racing wheels, Phantom Machined w/Black Accent, 18x8 front and 18x8 rear, on Falken tires. The car was lowered 2 inches with coil springs in the front and 2 inch blocks in the rear to give the car attitude. The car has a 350 engine, includes Holly carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Flow Teck headers with Pypes dual exhaust. HEI ignition, and 8mm Taylor made plug wires. Automatic 350 transmission. There is no AC/Heat. Standard Camaro black interior, like new. The car is highly detailed and ready to show. I build cars for the intention to compete for top awards at car shows. This car has never been shown, as it was just completed in the first week of March 2011. I’m confident this Camaro will make a lasting impression on people and has the potential to win many awards.
