Look at the awesome body lines on this top of the line 69 Bonneville Convertible. Beautiful paint on a pin staright body that shines like new. Chrome also looks great. Original leather seats and padded dash have no tears or cracks. Power top works as it should without a sound. The engine on this Bonneville is a matching numbers big block 428ci 4bbl that starts and runs beautifully. You can drive this car anywhere confidently. She can cruise easily at high speeds without a problem. No pulling or shaking and she shifts & stops beautifully. Options include air conditioning (currently not working), power steering and power brakes and a modern day 4 speaker stereo that sounds incredible. All lights & gauges, signals, heat & horn work as they should. Four PMD rims are still on the car and a full spare is in the trunk as shown. Tires are 80% or better. Mileage reads 70,4XX which we believe is actual. , This is an excellent driving car with 60s size, style and luxury. The key factors in a great classic are all here; excellent paint & finish on a pin straight rust free body, interior seating and of course, one of the best power plants of its time, a 428ci 375hp 4bbl that starts, idles & runs beautifully. , Now there are a few things that that could use some attention if the new owner chooses to do so. Keep in mind that this car is an excellent driver as is and absolutely nothing is needed to keep it that way however, if you wanted to bring this rarely seen, highly desireable classic to the next level, these points will get it done! Before doing so, we would like to point out that this NADA and The Hagerty Classic Car Price Guide both value this car in its current condition at between $22,500- $25,500. The next level can bring $35,000-$40,000. To get there, you will need to start with the following:, 1. While the power top works perfectly, does show signs of wear. It does NOT leak and their are no tears but the rubber is worn and the exterior portion is slightly faded in some spots. We tried to show them but they are slight enough that they do not show in photos. (new top is $1500), 2. A/C is not working. We have not yet looked into the problem. , 3. While the chrome shines bright, their is one spot on the front bumper that has faded. There is no pitting at all, just fade. To give it a brand new look, rechroming is necessary, otherwise, leave it alone. You have to stare at it to notice it. (approx fix $600 including install), 4. While the seating is in great shape, the dash cluster looks worn. Speedo glass has a foggy look and the seams look tired. Everything works great so again, you can leave it as is or replace the dash cluster. While this is not an expensive item, it can be hard to find. We will begin searching it out & replace it when we do. (estimated cost to replace, $300-$600 which will be added to current price if we fix it), Thats it!!! Again, we would like to mention that none of these items need to be addressed for this to be a super nice driver. The real value of this car is there; the engine, interior seating, power top motors, paint and trim... The choice to step it up is all yours!
