The car was then dismantled, media blasted, and has since undergone a complete frame off restoration. All components were either refurbished or replaced. The body work was completed by a reputable body shop with exceptional credentials including cover shots of cars they built in popular muscle car magazines. I personally have over 1,000 hours of labor into completing and detailing the restoration of this car. There are over $70,000 in receipts in a detailed book regarding the restoration. You may look at the price and question it, but compare it to all the other 1970 SS 454 Baldwin Motion cars out there and you will understand how rare these cars really are. If you do happen to find a true 1970 Baldwin Motion Chevelle that’s for sale you may be looking at $300,000 +. Just this past January there was a 1972 Motion “Moray GT” 454 Corvette that bid over $300,000 and the reserve was still not met., , If interested ask about the warrantee and other parts that are included. This car looks much better in person. There are also over 150 photos of the restoration, over 190 pages of receipts, as well as other documentation that will be included.
