This is a rare 1970 Torino Cobra Jet Ram Air 429 CJ 4-speed, 4BBL V8, and to find one that runs as well as this car is even more difficult. This car is ALL ORIGINAL! The seats and dash look brand new and it even has a nice built in Rainbow TAC, and while it currently doesn't work, it shouldn't take much to repair it. According to the previous owner, this car was restored 10 years ago, and by the looks of it, a very good job was done during the restoration by someone who really appreciated quality in workmanship. This is a very nice car to drive and because there are so few of them seen anymore, it attracts a lot of attention. The brakes, steering, engine and all other mechanical components work well so there's no reason anyone should be afraid to drive this car anywhere. In 1970 Ford introduced this Torino Cobra complete with a 429 cubic-inch, 375hp solid lifters Cobra Jet engine. Power is transferred to the rear wheels courtesy of a four-speed 390 rear end manual gearbox with factory oil cooler. The suspension was upgraded and a dual-exhaust system was added. Bucket seats continued the performance montage in the interior. A Traction-Lock limited slip differential was optional. A 'shaker' hood scoop could be ordered as optional equipment which helped the engine breath at high speeds.
