1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator for Sale. Heres a RARE one! Believed to be 1 of only approximately 50 remaining, a real Boss 302 powered Mercury Cougar Eliminator in Competition Orange with black interior and complimented by a bold stripe package. Powered by Fords Boss 302 and backed with a 4 speed Hurst Shifter, power disc brakes, factory chromed valve covers and air breather add to the highly detailed engine compartment. The interior remains stock with an AM-FM 8 Track, high backed bucket seats and console. The exterior is in excellent condition and is accented by the scooped hood, bold Eliminator graphics, rear deck lid spoiler, notice that the deck lid is supported with a prop rod. This was needed due to Mercury adding strength to the rear spoiler on the car which increased the weight of the trunk lid, this item is found only on the Eliminator. The car rolls on a set of Magnum 500s with B.F.Goodrich raised white letter radials in 225-60R 15. The car is supported by a Marti Report. It also comes with an original owners manual, original Bill of Sale, window sticker, broadcast sheet and an original Sales Brochure.
