For Sale is a 1971 Lincoln Continental, with Air Ride fully adjustable suspension. The car started as a triple black original low mileage Continental that was rust free and had no dents. The car has always been babied and was stored indoors its entire life. About 7 years ago, the car was freshened up with mechanical details being taken care of. The water pump and radiator was replaced, the trans was pulled and rebuilt to ensure seals were in good shape. the car was driven stock for the next 5 years. Two years ago the body was stripped to be repainted. The new black paint is beautiful as shown in the pictures. The original chrome was redone and reinstalled. The bumpers were perfect, so only plating and polishing was needed, so they shine like mirrors. All accessories work, power locks, windows, lights, switches, radio is all operational. The door panel trim piece on front door is not in in the pictures, but will be installed before delivery. The windows are tinted and are of legal tint as per the current law in Illinois. The only flaw found in the paint is pictured, by rear window. The original carb was pulled and a Holley carb was put in its place for reliability. The original carb is included. The 460 V8 runs smooth and has plenty of power. The custom exhaust goes from stock manifolds into Flowmaster mufflers and dumps under the car. The Air Ride Suspension is controlled by a remote that is run into the car, and has pumps mounted in the trunk. The 22" wheels are new and are wrapped in new rubber. The factory suspension-minus the shocks is included as well as the original wheels, tires and hubcaps. If you leave it the way it is, its a show winner, just looking as tough as it does. Or you could put it back to stock and have a show winner in the stock class.
