1971 Plymouth Scamp. This classic "A" body Plymouth shares basic design elements with the Dodge Dart. This car showcases approximately $10,000 worth of paint & body work alone in 2009. The body was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. 200 hours were spent on the paint & body work alone (with receipts). After numerous block-sandings, the black base/clear coat finish was applied. The result is what you see here. In addition to the body and paint restoration, this Plymouth sports a performance-built 318 4bbl. V8. This engine has been bored .030 over and is equipped with an aluminum performance intake manifold, Holley 4bbl. carburetor along with a performance cam. The exhaust gasses are expelled via ceramic coated headers to true dual exhaust for a healthy muscle car sound.
