Consignment Sale... Last year of this 2nd gen Z28. This is a rare and desirable car. Two owners since new true Z28. All original body panels nice solid car. Very nice driver. The original owner owned the car for approx. 15 years and decided to restore the car. He proceeded to completely disassemble the car and lost interest in the project. His neighbor who watched the progress of the restoration came to the rescue of this rare car and purchased it. He spent the next several years re-assembiling the Z and made it the driver you see today. He wasn't as concerned about originality as making it a cool every day driver. He chose the bright yellow and black combo for their wow factor. He installed a cowl induction hood for that muscle look. He had the interior custom stitched in black velour with diamond patterns. He installed new carpeting and dash pad as well as a custom gauge cluster with Auto Meter gauges. , , The engine is the one that came with the car but he added headers and an aluminum Edelbrock intake and carb combo for a little extra zip. The car came from factory with an automatic but the owner couldn't see putting a slush box in a muscle car so he installed a new TKO 5 speed manual transmission with a hurst shifter. This car is as fun to drive as it looks and gets respectable fuel economy on those long road trips. This is a great car for driving and if you ever want to put it back to original you have the right car to do just that., , The VIN decodes as follows, 1 = Chevrolet, Q = Sport Coupe, 87 = 2dr. coupe, T = 350 CU 4 bolt main 245 hp / 280 TQ Z28 Only, 3 = 1973, N = Norwood assembly plant, Last 6 production number, , There were only 5,400 of the Z28 automatic cars built in 73 how many are left????, For more Z28 facts just go to www.nastyz28.com and check it out.
