1974 Chevrolet K10 Base

WOW!!!! HOW DO WE START HERE???, , We have acquired a 1974 Chevrolet K10 4X4 long bed. This truck, well,,, it's something else!, It features a double-hoop roll bar that lights up the night with three KC's (there used to be four, but one got snapped off somewhere...) Dual tanks extend your driving range and the long bed gives you plenty of room for all of the gear. A HEAVY DUTY bumper hitch allows you to tow the quads, the boat - or your buddy out of a ditch; whatever- this hitch will do the job. , There's a crate engine under the hood and it's coupled up to a four speed manual transmission with a "granny" low 1st gear. Mechanically this seems to be a nice vehicle, it starts right up, the engine runs strong and it drives out well. There's no doubt the engine is fresh; how fresh??? We don't know..., , Cosmetically it's rough- there are a bunch of dents here and there, it has the infamous Chevy buckling hood but most of the paint matches. The interior is in need of some touching up as well. The cloth seating is brown but the dash is blue with black trim. This truck WAS NOT built with air conditioning, it isn't broken- it was never installed. There was a radio at one time, but it's gone now; and the glove compartment is allegedly in Pennsylvania... Don't get me wrong, this truck isn't trashed, but it is not pretty , ~ with a little work (if you want to) this is going to make a great vehicle! Hell, there's nothing wrong with it just as it is... The original hood ornament is still here!, Safety features include lap belts for three; and a horn..., We HAVE NOT run this vehicle through emissions- it may pass, it may not- NO GUARANTEES., , The odometer shows 69,287 miles and the title says 335,XXX ~ so 369,287 it is!
