1975 Porsche 911 2006 Toyota CE

Motorbahn is offering this 1975 Porsche 911 that has been converted from a Targa into a Convertible. I bought the car on the East Coast and the gentleman who owned it before me had the 993 Turbo wide-body installed on the car for $12,000.00. I bought it and then purchased a 1986 3.2 liter engine and transmission installed by Jon Rhodes, formally with Reid Vann, now owner of ET Tuning. I bought the engine and transmission from Parts Heaven and it had 67,xxx miles on it. I paid $8,500.00 for it and then paid Jon $2,659.00 to install it which, since we are friends, it was close to his cost. I then bought the Fabspeed exhaust with cat. bypass for 1,363.00. The exhaust is all stainless and under warranty. The car runs very strong and tight. I pulled all the carpet out and ordered new from ebay for $300.00. I put “hush-matt” down ($200.00) then added the new carpet. The seats were re-upholstered prior to me owning the car. There is a small 2” tear in the top that has been stitched. The top is mechanically inop. It needs the brain which is $295.00 from Parts Heaven. When we put the new dual exhaust on the car, the spot for factory exhaust needs to be fiberglassed. I did recover the door panels but did not reinstall them because I wanted to rewire the new speakers. It has a new stereo and speakers that I have not even turned on yet. The interior is virtually all new and looks great. The exterior is clean but in order to look perfect would need to be wet-sanded and buffed or one could opt to have it repainted. The left front wheel does have some road-rash but does not prohibit smooth driving. I have well over $20,000.00 in this 911 the way it sits and many many hours of hard work. I have run out of time and energy to finish this car. My loss is your gain! , This car was to be my personal toy for the summer but I just do not have the time to finish. My best estimate to finish this car would be about $1,000.00 and some hard work. If this car was finished, it would sell for around $25,000.00.
