This is a project truck but the engine runs great and the body is totally straight. The bed has 1 minor ding which I will repair. I have done much work on this truck-mostly electrical. Somebody chopped the heck out of the wiring under the dash and at the tail light wiring using the taps the cut the insulation and 1/2 of the wire to add trailer lights. The truck has a frame mounted hitch and I have added a trailer light connector. The truck is not equipped witrh a/c. I have found a body shop where I can have the frame shortened and turned into a short bed. Nobody collects long bed pickups. I need another dash assembly (with all of the guages) and the left tail light chrome trim piece and some lenses in front are cracked but functional. I have purchased new Goodyear Wrangler P 235 /75 R15 tires and will replace the other 2 remaining P 225 75./R15 tires (the size the truck originally came with) after painting the other 2 rims. The truck has the original stainless steel hub caps and they are in good condition. The truck is very clean underneath and has no fluid leaks of any kind. I am thinking of replacing the 318 V-8 (which is out of a Plymouth automobile) with a rebuilt 318 cu. in. truck engine that I have located. I have thought about dropping a 440 cu.in. engine in this truck along with the larger tranny. I feel that this truck could be driven anywhere after I have redone the brake the brake lines. The rotors and pads are fine but the neoprene lines were chafed and I have purchased new replacements for both front caliipers.
