1976 Mercedes-Benz SL Class Unknown

This car is a survivor!!!, , 1976 Mercedes 450 SL, , Convertible / Hardtop , , Body on the car is in great shape and very clean. The car is still in original paint and shines excellent! The chrome shines and the lenses are not faded. The convertible top is in great shape other than a 1.5” area that the threads are coming undone. The removable hard top is excellent. Overall, a very clean little car. Yes it has a few minor scratches but for an original car that has been used, and enjoyed, it is in excellent condition., , Interior is in great shape, the seats are very soft, and not brittle, it is amazing how they have survived to stay in this condition with no tears, rips or cracks. The headliner of the hard top is in great shape, no tears, no stains, it is very tight and looks great. The original vinyl dash does not have any cracks. Steering wheel is amazing, no cracks, no wear. The console and shifter also is very clean. Instrument cluster and gauges again very clean. All the gauges & clock work. The heater & air conditioner work great. Carpet is original and in very good condition. The door panels are amazing no warps, no water damage, very clean, all are in the same condition. Overall great interior! , , The engine compartment is very clean. The powerful 4.6L engine starts and runs great. The firewall & fender wells are original and are still in excellent condition. The cooling temperature stays at 180 even driving slow paced in a parade on a hot day., , The undercarriage is all stock and in great shape.
