1977 Mercury Cougar Sedan (4th Generation) 46,000 Original Miles.......$3995 Cash, , This is a 1-family, 2-owner car. Just traded in by 75-year-old customer. She purchased the car in 2004 from her Aunt with 25060 miles on it. (See picture of title) Her Aunt purchased the car new., , This is a nice car and is original throughout. It is NOT restored, but it is certainly not a pile of junk. It is a VERY good car for someone looking to restore a car without completely rebuilding from a junk pile, OR for someone to drive as an occasional weekend car as is, , The car runs very good. The air conditioning (R-12) blows cold. The car has 20" chrome rims and tires that were installed after the car was traded in. The wheels are in very good condition and the tires have approximately 85%+ of the tread remaining . It has the original 302 cu in (4.9L) V8 , , I just had my mechanic do the following:, , Front Brake Pads, Front Brake Rotors, Front Brake Hoses, Front Brake Calipers, Clean and Adjust Rear Brakes (did not need to be replaced), Tires Rotated and Balanced, Lube, Oil, Filter, , If you are looking for a show piece or a competition show car, then this is NOT it. If you are looking for a VERY nice original car (that you can get in and drive NOW) then this is the car for you. , , If you are someone who restores older American-made cars, you will love this car. It provides a VERY solid base on which to build. It has very little rust, virtually no dents and damage....and the body, engine, and transmission are solid. The interior is original and VERY nice. There is some wear on the carpet on the driver's floorboard, but other than that, the carpeting is flawless and the seats are not torn or damaged, and show very little wear, , This car is priced to sell quickly.
