We are pleased to present this very clean, rust free, well maintained, 1978 Chevrolet Long Box Pick-up. This truck was sold new at Chase Chevrolet Co. of Sherman, Texas. It remained in the friendly climate of Texas until it was acquired by an avid Pontiac Collector. As a result, he installed a period correct complete Pontiac 455 V8 engine and some Pontiac badging. The 455 is mated with the trucks 3 speed transmission with low gear. Other options include 4 wheel drive, 2H 4H and 4L transfer case, locking front hubs, cold Factory A-C, power steering, power brakes, am-fm with cassette, bench seat, factory gauges, tow package, dual tanks and 8 ft box. Mechanically the truck is outstanding, very reliable and delivers a smooth and remarkably tight ride, no squeaks or rattles. Cosmetically every square inch of this truck has been looked after.
