Quality, luxury, durability, and drivability are what made the 107 series, the famed SL roadsters from 1972 to 1989, so famous, so iconic, and so desirable. Beware, however, the all but recently neglected ‘restoration; or the never really driven much garage queen, as the time, money and effort you'll spend to make the road-worthy will sour you. All the heavy lifting has been done; the motor was recently professionally rebuilt, as was the transmission. The suspension and brakes were renewed. The body is in excellent condition, typical of it Georgia heritage, repainted to a very high standard in original color and the interior has been restored from dash to floor, including supple new covers on the seats in sparkling Blue MB Tex. The soft top is new and the window clear and, of course, the color-matched hardtop is included.
