This Biarritz Convertible when new carried a sticker price of well $31,000 before any additional options were added! Reportedly only 2,300 Eldorado Convertibles were built in for the 1985 model year. This particular drop-top is finished in beautiful Blue Metallic over White leather interior and White convertible top. Cadillac contracted with the American Sunroof Company (ASC) for assistance in building these cars for just 2 years, meaning that this is truly a rare find in such a fine condition. Cadillac put most every luxury convenience into this machine, including upper-level Biarritz trim (chrome), a power top with glass rear window and full headliner, power rear side windows and more! This was not inexpensive, and a prime reason why so few ended up being produced. The frames of these factory convertibles have been extremely reinforced with sub-frame additions and bracing. General Motors did an outstanding job on these factory convertibles making the car structurally quite impressive, even more so than any other GM convertible prior. Top up or top down, this is a great looking and driving car!
