What a nice old convertible. This beauty is a 1989 model, almost 22 years old. It is not perfect but it is in exceptionally good shape for its age. It does run and drive. Obviously someone took very good care of this vehicle. I have not checked Carfax on it but I would bet that it is a one owner car. It is rare to see these old Z24's in this good of condition. Specially in Michigan., , The car was an insurance write off from Ohio. In Ohio any car that is paid off as part of a damage claim is automatically issued a salvage title. This one is no exception. The insurance docs say that it has some type of damage to the undercarriage. I have not had it on a hoist yet to ID what that could be. Probably nothing major. If you break more than two pieces of glass on a car this age the insurance company declares a total loss., , This is definitely worth buying and cleaning up. It would make a nice summer cruiser. There is virtually no rust visble on the body. The paint and interior are in great shape. This is just a couple years shy of being a classic car. Not that a Cavalier is gonna be worth a ton of money to anyone but it will be a unique car that you dont see every day. Definitely worth the $1500 price.
