1989 Jaguar XJS. 75,129 actual miles, Michigan Salvage title. Equipped as follows: V12 cylinder engine, automatic, air (cold), tilt, cruise, power steering, brakes, windows, locks, antenna, and mirrors. Leather seating, dual front heated seats. Am fm cassette stereo, alloy rims, fog lamps, rear defoger, security system, loaded. Condition as follows: This car took a hit high on the right front over the main lower structure. The main part of the front bumper is still good, the chrome trim in the upper middle, and right corner are bad. The grill, hood, right head light trim bezel all need to be replaced. The inner right head light is broken (auto parts store). The right fender probably should be replaced, but with a proper pull could be repaired. The left fender has small dent in the front of it, and the outer reflector lamp lens is also broke in that fender (definately repair). The radiator support looks perfect, and the coolers are still good, even the air conditioning still works. The left door has a silver dollar sized rust bubble in the middle of it. The left rear quarter panel has a tiny spot of rust just starting on the lower front, right behind the lower rear corner of the door. There is some more extensive rust on the same quarter panel low right behind the rear tire. That small area is deos have a hole in it. Some light repair and paint work needed on the front edge of the right front door from where the fender came back and messed it up a little. I believe the car to be in all original condition and paint. The roof and upper trunk lid have some very light scratches in them that should all definately just polish out. The windshield is broken, and the right front rim is missing the center cap. That wheel appears to be tipped in a little on the top. I do not believe there is any hard core straightning that is needed to be done on this car. Maybe just a little underneath the right fender on that upper fender rail?. No buckles in the roof, and good body lines on both of the doors. The interior appears to be all original as well. This is a very clean car for being 20 years old car. The interior imperfections are as follows. The headliner material was comming loose and somebody went ahead and stapled it back up. The left upper interior windshield post trim piece, and instrument cluster trim bezel are both missing. The center console plastic wood grain trim bezel around the shifter is cracked, and the center console glove box lid material has a bad spot in the middle of it as well. Both of the front bucket leather seats are showing some light discoloration, and the left upper side wing of the drivers front seat has a small wear spot on the peak edge. The lower cushion on the right rear seat has a 5 inch scrape in the leather. All of the leather could be repaired/touched up with some spray on leather dye very easily. The carpet and rest of the interior is real nice. The car runs perfect and is actually still driveable. The power steering is a little tight. I can hear the pump humming a little, so it is low on fluid, and the system may have a leak in it. Call me direct at (586) 336-3658 or email me for additional information.
