1990 brought the 25th anniversary of the Mustang and with it they celebrated with a special edition Mustang called the ’7-Up’ Mustang because it was originally planned to be part of an advertisement with 7-Up but it ended up falling through. The 4 cylinder and 5.0 returned at the same rated horsepower of 88 horsepower and 225 horse power along with Convertibles, Hatchbacks and Coupes being offered.
