I have for sale a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. This is my spare vehicle I use when I don't want to drive my main vehicle in bad weather. I purchased last summer a year ago. Has 280,000 miles on it. Has the durable 6cyl. Previous owner replaced the tranny and transfer case at 200,000. 4x4 works great. The spark plugs, plug wires, and distributer have been replaced in the last year. The rear-end and both rear u-joints were just replaced. Starts every time. Had no issues in the snow last winter. I only drive it in town, and now that winter is here I've started driving it almost everyday to work. The rear wiper is missing, which is what I think caused the rust at the bottom of the rear liftgate. I sanded that down the best I could and sprayed some rubberized undercoating on it. Also has a small dent on the front passenger side fender. Interior is a little dirty, but cleaned it up some. Seats are very comfortable. Brakes squeak some, but I do have new brake pads that will go with the new owner. Never got around to installing them. Also, the pics make the wheels look pretty good, but there is actually a lot of peeling and flaking on them. I checked the value on KBB.com and used the lowest rated value which is "Fair"., , Here is the link, not sure if it will work or not: http://www.kbb.com/jeep/grand-cherokee/1997-jeep-grand-cherokee/laredo-sport-utility-4d/?vehicleid=7958&intent=trade-in-sell&mileage=280000&condition=fair&pricetype=private-party&isnotabs=true&creativeid=443&anchor=true, The "Fair" private party price shows as $2,185. I have it priced lower than that at $1,950. Winter is here and will make for a great winter vehicle. Only reason I am selling is because I bought an '89 Dodge Ramcharger project vehicle to replace this one. You can either email or text six zero five six nine five one seven zero zero., Thanks,, Chad
