I am located in Troy AL.Up for sale is a good looking 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 5speed.It runs and drives great.126xxx actual miles, daily car., , The reason I sell it because I have 3 cars already,and my wife is pregnanted,I have to sell the smallest one to save some money. , , Mods:, Spectrum Air Intake, K&N Filter, OBX 4-2-1 Sports header (CAT deleted)wrapped with DEI wrap, X3 Racing twin loop muffler, NGK Iridium spark plugs, Accell plug wires, JDM oil catch tank, Knock Mod, Toys Auto Aluminum strut tower bar, 17'' Konig K7 rims with 205/40 General UHP tires, 21mm rear way bar, Carbon fiber look hood, 2 HELLA driving lamp, LED tag plate light, OEM turn signal removed and swapped to LED(For better cooling effect), Brake calipers and drums painted red, APC Aluminum GT style spoiler, Custom cluster (not the ugly green but Yellow and Red), Door panel swapped to OEM black, Under foot and roof Led decoration, OBX short throw shifter with leather boots, FatMat sound insulation(Hood,fire wall,doors, floor, trunk etc.)for better audio sound, Dual head unit(SD,AUX in,USB, no CD), Sony speakers in front and pioneer in rear, acousitc 2.1 channel power amp and noise reducer, , Good: Strong and durable Engine,sounds good,trans and clutch work great,nice handling, good mpg and fast acceleration.This car can run 0-60mph in 7.2(Best result I had) and 32-35MPG on HWY! Paint is nearly perfect. , , Bad: Some minor dents on roof and door.Interior has some normal wear and scatches.This is a 13 years old car.when Shift in gear the shifter is loose in horizontal way but won't slip out of the gear, the problem might be the short throw shifter bushing. If you are experienced MT driver that will be no problem but if you are not I still have the OEM shifter you can change it back., , I had one accident on Dec 2009, carshed rear bumper, quarter panel, one tail light and a blown rear wheel. I took it to mechanic shop to fix it with all new OEM parts.Damage was not bad and frame was not dameged,I have pics to prove it.Now the car is in perfect condition. , , This car is being sold "AS-IS", warrenty expires on Dec.NADA clean retail on one of these is $ 3325.KBB Private party of this is $ 3000 but I am selling it only $2500.
