Nope, it aint pretty - but it sure is SMART (kinda like the kids in high school, eh?). This great little survivor has had more than its fair share of bumps and bruises, but it wears them proudly (as only a Subaru can) and they certainly do not detract from the fantastic functionality of the vehicle. cause, as you know, with only 125k on the clock, this Subbie can go easily another decade or so and another couple hundred thousand. The key to it is that the car has always had good maintenance, if not cosmetic coddling. The engine runs super strong with no issues, least of all and oil consumption, internally or externally. Likewise the trans and brakes function exactly as they should, consistent with or even better than the meager mileage would indicate. However, the interior is the big surprise. Sure, its Spartan and basic, as a 1st generation Outback always was, but it is in excellent condition; no rips, tears, odor, discoloration! Certainly a testament to how well these early Subbies were built, as well as how well this one was cared for. So, we think this is about the smartest purchase one can make when looking to maximize the transportation value for the dollar. The safety, durability, and functionality of a classic Subaru at a price that wouldnt buy a Honda worth owning or a domestic that would be worth driving! Please, come see for yourself and we are sure that a few miles behind the wheel will convince you that function will win out over form when cars and safety are concerned. We are conveniently located in Downtown Alpharetta and we are pretty straight-shooters...
