1998 Volkswagen Jetta CD With MP3

I have a '98 Jetta ready for sale and am trying to gauge any interest on here otherwise it will be listed on eBay. I received the car as a trade in with a little over 220k on the the clock. Since then I have done nothing but drive and enjoy all of what a TDI has to offer. The best gas mileage I have gotten out of a tank was 59.7 miles per gallon. This was a trip to Philly and back, 95% highway, minimal traffic, going the speed limit. This just proves that the motor is very solid and performing as it should. On average I usually get anywhere between 45 and 55 mpg depending on driving conditions. The car now has 225k miles on it and in the past month I have done quite a bit of work. I work at a VW/Audi Service/Repair shop as a mechanic and all the work on the vehicle was performed by me. I take pride in my work and will guarantee all the work that has been done to the car while in my possession. The following is a list of new parts that have been replaced. Kuhmo 195 60 14 Tires Timing Belt w/ Bearings Thermostat Starter Ignition Switch Serpentine Belt Radio I'm sure there are some other things that I am forgetting that I have done to make this TDI ready to run for the next 80k miles. Many may shy off because of the mileage but I have seen and worked on many TDIs with significantly higher mileage. The body is in great condition for the mileage but is in no means perfect. Their are no major rust issues to speak of and all areas of concern have been inspected. The car was originally what I believe to be Windsor Blue but was painted black. The paint job is of very high quality with few flaws to speak of. It looks perfect from afar but is far from perfect. The door jams and engine bay retain the original color. I am asking $4000 and the price is firm. In my mind the car is well worth that. The service work that I have done will provide the future owner with many worry free miles. Thanks, Jim
