1999 Jeep Cherokee Base GLS LX

She is a 5 Speed 4x4, and a very catchy color of RED!! This is a very clean nice Jeep. Now-THE REST OF THE STORY. I always keep my eye out for a 5 speed Jeep Cherokee. Well ,this is a GOOD LOOKING one of those. I got it back to the dealership and started going over it. The motor had marginal oil pressure, and a fresh oil change took care of that. The radiator was so full of stop leak to the point that I had to flush it 6-7 times to get the cooling system cleaned out. So I said to myself I need to drive her for a couple of days and "PROOF" her out. On the morning of the 3rd day she overheated and I towed her back to the dealership. Well it turned out to be a blown head gasket. The crankcase oil looked like a milkshake and she was about 3 qts over the full mark on the dip stick. She had probably been dumbed up for the auction. So after weighing the options I decided to replace the motor. I found an 85,000 mile 1999 Jeep Cherokee Motor as a replacement and while we were doing the replacement of the motor I took a look at the clutch. Well it was almost to the rivets, so she got a new clutch assembly. So now she has a NEW CLUTCH and a lot lower miles motor than the original motor. This should make YOU, the next owner, a much more contented owner than what she had been. There was also a noisy rear bearing, so I am having the rear ring and pinion bearings replaced. This is not an uncommon replacement on a Jeep rear. She will be finished shortly and the Maryland State Inspection also finished. Sorry about the price of her, but after a motor and a new clutch I had to make something on all the big ticket items that were done., All electrical and optional equipment on this vehicle have been checked and are in perfect working condition. This vehicle has no known defects. The vehicle engine runs very, very smooth. The exterior finish on this automobile is clean. The interior is clean and in good condition. The mileage represented on this vehicle is the actual current mileage. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission.
