2001 BMW 7 series 3 Quad Coupe 2D

Here is an excellent example of a BMW that has been well-kept, correctly maintained, and loved by it previous owner (until they traded for a much newer Mercedes). We know these cars well and we thoroughly inspected it prior to trade to insure that there were no surprises. The owner had also had it checked over by a prominent local German car independent shop, which gave the car a clean bill of health. It shows very well overall with a minimum of minor cosmetic issues and none of the typical mechanical issues, like oil leaks. The worst of it is a dim backlighting to the odometer and some missing pixels on the digital clock and outside temp gauge. The ride and drive is extremely good, however, well above what you would reasonably expect for the price. And, like we said, it shows extremely well, so you will certainly not be anything but proud when handing the keys to the valet. Of course, there are a host of neat extras you get with the 740iL, including Navigation and heated seats, and these are all in good working order. We are having a new headliner installed, correcting a common problem with cars of this age. The rest of the interior is very good, with no splits, stains, or tears on the seats or carpets. Likewise, the exterior is very good, with bright, deep paint on all surfaces. Bumpers are in good shape as are the Sport model wheels, with minimal curb marks and a glossy finish. The engine runs smooth and strong with no lights on or fluid leaks - its is not unusual for a BMW engine to go two or three times this mileage (127k), but it is very common for them to have minor oil leaks many owners will ignore. This one did not! So, please, if you are interested in how much car you can buy for just a few thousand dollars, this is one you really must look at.
