A 2001 Dale Earnhardt Intimidator SS Camaro, built to the man in black's specifics by GMMG and sold through Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in North Carolina. This car is number 81 out of 83 made. After Mr. Earnhardt's untimely death, no more of these were made. This is truly a piece of not only Chevrolet, but NASCAR history. When there cars were dropped off at GMMG they were just run of the mill 2001 Chevy Camaro SS's, but you don't build a car for the Intimidator and leave it ordinary. For Those of you who are uninformed, here is what GMMG did as par to the 'Intimidator' package. 381hp package, Cat Back chambered exhaust, high flow air box lid with logo, specific Dale Earnhardt short throw shifter, front & rear 1.5' lowering springs, American Racing 200S alloy wheels with Magnetallic Grey spokes, dimpled front & rear rotors, satin black rear tail light panel, chromed Camaro lettering tail panel, Cloisonne emblems on fenders, Cloisonne emblems on taillight panel, autographed instrument panel in bright argent, embroidered Intimidator SS floor mats, console plaque numbered to car, hood stinger and deck stripe, fitted car cover with Intimidator SS logo, all new grille with SS emblem, rearview mirror with compass/auto dimmer and power antenna. Many of the design cues were selected by Dale and many pay tribute to Camaros of the past. The Camaro wears custom 17' American Racing wheels inspired by the man himself. Never in the rain, always detailed and kept under a car cover in the garage. It was meticulously maintained and cared for always. In 12 years, this monster only accrued 4,126 miles.
