The limited edition Bullitt GT was offered in 2001 as a high-performance variant of the GT, as an homage to the 1968 Steve McQueen movie, "Bullitt". The 2001 Bullitt was available in black, true blue, and Dark Highland Green, the same color as the Mustang in the film.
