Must See!!! 2002 Volkswagen Turbo S Beetle , I'm selling my 2002 Volkswagen Turbo S Beetle. This is a great car, that is super fun to drive, and is hard to find. There are a lot of Turbo Beetles around, but they didn't make many Turbo S packages. The suspension is about an inch lower than the normal Beetles, as well as having a special edition front and rear bumper, and special edition 17 wheels. The Trasmission is a 6 speed manual with a BRAND new factory clutch, throwout bearing, and pressure plate, interior is black and grey leather, power everything, except the seat, since they never made power seats for this car. It gets 28 MPG or so, probably more if you took it easy and drove slow. Cruise control, Heavy Duty all-weather floor mats, 6 disc CD changer with Monsoon sound system that sounds great! Tires in the rear have less than 5,000 miles on them, and the front ones have about 15,000 miles. All 4 tires have near full tread life. It is a very safe car, and even has airbags in the seats, for side impacts. If you look in the picture of the back seat you can see the airbag patch on the side of the front seat. , , This car has a lot of miles, but they are mostly all highway. I got the car, when it was acting up from my mother, and did a lot of major repairs, and preventative maintenance to it, and it is like new again. See below for all the new parts. There are some other Turbo S beetles on Craigslist, and some local dealerships that are going for $7,000 or $8,000. I am letting this one go for much cheaper, because the factory alarm likes to go off sometimes when it is armed, it has some minor cosmetic damage, and it is such high mileage (even tho allll the major wear parts were just replaced) Since all the repairs, I've driven this car to Las Vegas, Riverside in So-Cal twice, and all over northern California, probably about 5,000 miles. Runs amazing, and is a blast to drive. On the freeway going 110 MPH feels like 50 MPH. The car will do 160 Max speed from the factory, but I've never pushed it quite that far. Oh, and I just put new wiper on it (the one is taken off in the pictures while I was getting new blades) , New water pump , New upgraded stainless steel valves (the mild steel ones were prone to bending) , New timing belt , New timing belt tensioners (both of them) , New Ignitions coils (these engines have individual coils, no plug wires) , New Crankshaft and camshaft sensors , New Spark plugs , New tires , New Clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing , Rebuilt and tuned up head when the new parts were being replaced , VERY fun car to drive. The engine is more Audi than it is Volkswagen , 225,xxx miles , 2 small dents on the front of the hood, near the VW emblem , 1 deep scratch on each the front and rear bumpers , A few door dings here and there, only 1 is really noticeable , small discoloration area on the passenger seat. , missing tow hook hole cover on front bumper, as well as one bumper mesh piece , One busted fog lamp that got hit with a rock on the highway, and I never got around to replacing , Alarm is finicky, I think the door spring sensor needs to be replaced, doesn't effect drivability. This will not last long at this price., FULL FINANCING AVAILABLE!!
