One of my favorite BMW’s is any of the R Series RT models. They follow the heritage pattern of the opposed Twin, a trade mark for BMW since 1923 and happens to be one of the best Sport Touring bikes out there year after year. , , This 1150RT has enough creature comforts for two up riding that long distance touring demands yet has the agility and performance to command secondary roads without dragging the floorboards at pedestrian speeds. The bikes are not Sport Bikes by any stretch of the imagination, but they allow two up riding on secondary roads with the pleasures of motorcycling that larger cruisers can only wish for. It allows you to depart the Super Slabs and be involved in the country in a way big bikes make work out of., , This particular bike is just shy of 26,000 miles being a owner bike that has had mechanical and cosmetic attention typical of most compulsive BMW owners. It is cosmetically excellent and mechanically good to go. It comes equipped with electrically assisted ABS Brakes, Heated Grips, Factory Hard Bags and the electronically adjustable Windscreen. , , The owner has gone to F800 and having two bikes in the garage was more then he wanted to deal with.
