In 2003, Dodge gets rid of their useless four-cylinder, and adds a new lineup of bigger and more powerful engine to the mix. This 03' Dakota Sport features a new 5-speed automatic transmission which is paired to the new 4.7-liter, 235-hp V8 to enhance the engine's capabilities and to make the driving experienced that much more fun. All models get 16-inch wheels and a new midyear Stampede package for regular and Club Cab Sport trims added extra sportiness by including body-colored bumpers, a rear stabilizer bar, and the Tire and Handling Package. The 2003 Dakota, like its preceeders offered all the comfort options, plus all models come with power windows, locks, and keyless entry. Ceiling and floor consoles provided extra storage, and the dashboard is easy to read and convienent to use.
