2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse XLS

This Eclipse GS has been adult driven and well maintained. Car gets regular 28-30 mpg, yet even for a 4-cylender, it can really get up and go when needed! This car is GREAT in the winter also! Oil change was performed every 3,000 miles - religiously. All maintenance performed as scheduled. Vehicle runs smooth as glass / perfectly - and has never experienced a problem. Recent maintenance / parts include new brakes 10 months ago, 2 new oxygen sensors, new manifold catalytic converter just installed ($485.00). NEW all-season tires on the car now. New $40.00 windshield wipers also just put on. Fresh oil change just performed 200 miles ago., , This car has also always been garaged kept, waxed regularly and cared for! Just inspected with flying colors., , The interior is in very good condition. The seats are blue after-market race style seats purchased from Summit Racing. The floor brackets were special made in California. The seats do have some fading on the outside area of the top sections where sun hits them, but these can be dyed back to black very easily. Just have not had time myself to do this. The driver's seat has one small (half the size of a pencil eraser) burn spot, and another tiny spot on the seat (had a smoker borrow the car for a few days and that's what you get). They are very minor repairable spots. Other minor issues with the interior -- Cruise Control works but has somehow become partially detached from the column. That's about it. It has been well cared for and very clean -- see pics. ADDITIONAL PICS AVAILABLE FOR SERIOUSLY INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS., , This car has NOT been modified mechanically in any way, as we are old farts, but we have added a few enhancement parts. This includes a K&N Cold Air Intake system & filter. This actually produced a few more miles on the mpg and creates a better breathing system for the motor. The original air cleaner, air box, piping & hardware are also included in this, however. There is also a top-grade stainless steel exhaust tip added to the rear, as well as a billet aluminum fuel door to replace the stock brown plastic one., , While the mileage is a little high, this IS a Mitsubishi 4-cylinder motor that has always been maintained, you should easily expect 200,000 miles and more if proper oil changes & maintenance is performed. Parts are inexpensive and readily available for this car., , Considering the excellent condition of this car, the price listed is FIRM - far below what its worth, but we need to move it.
