2004 Ford Explorer XLT AWD. 114,610 actual miles, Michigan clean/clear title. 4.6L V8, automatic, air, tilt, cruise, full power everything. Drivers power seat, power sunroof, and power foot petal controls. Rear wiper/defoger, fog lamps, roof rack, am fm cd stereo. Security system, keyless entry, trailer tow package, loaded. I purchased this truck two summers ago at an insurance company dealer sale. The truck was supposed to be a stolen/recoverd unit. When I purchased it, it needed nothing. There was nothing broken or missing on the truck. It is not a salvage/rebuilt/ or assembled vehicle. I purchased it for my son who was going away to college. We needed something that the seats would fold down in, to transport his belongings back and forth from school to home, and not get stuck in the winter months. We never towed anything with it. Well he just graduated from college and does not need a big sport utility vehicle anymore as to why I am selling it. I just recently put over $1,500 into this truck in brand new wheel bearings all the way around, just did a transmission, oil and filter service to it. A brand new 850 cca my cost new battery. The front tires were replaced apporximately 8,000 miles ago, rears are nice, brakes were done front and rear at 97,000 miles. Oil changed every 3 to 4 thousand miles. The truck cosmetically is very clean and looks good for a 6 year old truck with over 114K on it, but definately is not perfect. The imperfections are all cosmetic and very liveable as follows, and were there when I purchased the truck over two years ago. The front hood has two small ding/dents in it, the nose of it has some stone chips, and in the middle front there is a spot where the paint has flaked off of it. The middle front bumper cover, just below the grill has a small spot about the size of a dollar bill that is stress cracked. On the right front corner of the bumper cover there is a spot on the gray and in the white painted areas where the paint finish is scraped. There is a hard to see 4 inch paint scratch in the right rear quarter panel in front of the gas door. The rear bumper cover has some small chip/scratches in it, and an outward stress dimple in the plastic of it. One tiny very hard to see door ding in the middle rear of the left rear door. The roof has a couple of very small dings in it, and there is a some paint flaking off in the center rib valley of it. The windshield has a non running small chip in the passenger side middle of it. All four of the alloy rims have some oxidation marks in the finish of them. The interior is very clean with some light imperfections as follows. A couple of cigarette burns in the lower cushion front of the right front seat, two small marks in the right front door panel, and lastly a super hard to even see one in the lower cushion middle of the rear seat (we are all non smokers). Lastly on the inside there are some scrape marks in the plastic inner trim panel of the rear hatch/gate. The truck currently needs nothing, with no leaks, everything working, and is ready to go.
