Ive owned my 04 Grand Marquis for 7 years And after 123,000 miles, Im impressed by its durability And reliability. Its been garage kept so the body is like new And squeak And rattle free And drives And handles well. Brakes are better than average And gas mileage is around advertised expectancy. Ive had routine maintenance done as scheduled so the engine And transmission have been trouble free. No leaks or oil consumption. Ive used Mobile One since the beginning. The most expensive things Ive had to replace - AC controls And AC condenser 2 years ago. Both front And rear brake pads lasted well over 100,000 miles. All other repairs have been too minor and infrequent to even mention. , , Cons: Nothing. , , Overall review: Im upset that Ford chose to drop the Mercury brand And the Grand Marquis after 2010 model year. I have no doubt the new Taurus will adequately replace the Grand Marquis. However, theres still a lot of life left in this car so I wont be trading it in anytime soon.
